Yeshivah Or Hachaim, located in the bucharian district of Jerusalem, is the largest Sephardic yeshiva institution in the world. With close to a thousand students and its alumni students numbering in the tens of thousands and over 200 branches all across Israel. This Yeshivah has been a beacon of light for Sephardic Jewry for the past fifty plus years in Israel and across the globe.

The Rosh Yeshivah, Harav Hagaon Reuven Elbaz shlita, one of the greatest Torah sages of our generation. Well known for his great work. He deeply impacted and transformed the lives of millions of Jews in Israel and around the world. His magical smile is unforgettable. His warmth and true love for every Jew leaves a lasting impact on all those who have the great merit to meet him. His fiery personality and his unique vision whereby he settles for nothing less than greatness has pushed many to achieve that which they otherwise deemed impossible.
In the year 2021 R' Haim Bendayan, a close student of Harav Reuven Elbaz shlita, set off with a goal, to spread the great teachings of his Teacher to the English speaking public of North America. His goal is to impact the lives of the youth, to rekindle their flame of true Judaism. That they should live a true Torah life of happiness, enthusiasm and fulfillment.
I believe that every Jew possesses great qualities, it's just a matter of knowing how to draw them out

– To give our students the tools and skills necessary that they should be independent learners, delving into the depths of Gemara, Chumash or Halachah all with clear and deep understanding.
– To give our students the ability to feel a greater connection to Torah and Mitzvot, to enjoy every second of it, that it shouldn't be a burden to them but rather a prized treasure.
– To give our students a foundation on which they will construct their lives afterwards, whether it be studies or work, married life and raising children.
